Pray Always, Not Give Up!

Parable Of The Persistent Widow

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

loading Pray Always, Not Give Up!

He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’

For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually wear me out with her coming!’ ”

And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

A Call For Prayer

2 Chronicles 7:14

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Hello Vistors!

Welcome to Immanuel Battleground!
loading Hello Vistors!

If you are visiting us for the first time, welcome! You might be curious, wondering what Immanuel Battleground is all about.. Let me explain why it is chosen for this website and what the name means

Immanuel Battleground

It is my heart desire to set up a website teaching about prayer. Why prayer is so important in the life of a believer of Jesus Christ. What should our stand be concerning becoming prayer warriors for God and His Kingdom? Let me ask you some questions: Can you live without oxygen? Can you survive 3 days without your precious iPhone? Can you shut yourself away from every one you know by surviving up in a cabin on the mountainous region without the means to connect with any one at all for 3 weeks? I believe any one can be easily bored to death without a phone, a TV, or a car. We need to be connected to people because social interaction is very important to every human being.

In our connection to God, we pray. Therefore, prayer is our communication to Him as well as His communication to us.

Why the name Immanuel Battleground?

Immanuel in the Bible means “God with us“. It simply means we are in the presence of God. When we pray, we are seeking God. When we are on the holy ground, we dwell in the presence of God. That is what praying seek to do.
When we pray, we are also on the battleground. What do you mean? Well, according to the Bible in Ephesians 6:12, it say:

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Our daily battles that we are in, are with the evil forces of the world. Yet at the same time, God often reminds us the battles we fight belong to Him. If we understand the power we’ve received from God through the full armor of God we put on, victory belongs to us. Victory is first received in our time of prayer and intercession in the mighty presence of God. That is why praying is so important.

This website aims to teach the importance of understanding the need to pray, the power of prayer in the presence of the Almighty God. Without God, our prayers are utterly meaningless and powerless. Our hope is to rise up a group of prayer warriors who truly pray with power and authority in the presence of the Almighty God and advance His Kingdom.
